Accessibility Statement

LumiScrubs is committed to making this site usable for as many visitors as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies. We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance.

1. What we do

• Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy (one H1 per page, logical H2/H3 nesting).
• Keyboard-navigable navigation, forms, and checkout flow.
• Visible focus states on links and buttons.
• Alt text on product imagery and editorial images.
• Color contrast tested against WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds in our brand palette.
• Skip-to-content link for screen-reader and keyboard users on long pages.
• Responsive layouts that scale to mobile and tablet viewports.

2. Known limitations

This site uses the Flatsome theme and several WooCommerce plugins; some embedded third-party widgets may not meet AA standards. We work around these where we can and we welcome reports of specific problems so we can prioritize fixes.

3. Reporting accessibility issues

If you encounter a barrier on this site or in our shopping flow, please email [email protected] with:

• The page URL where you encountered the issue.
• The assistive technology (screen reader name, browser, version).
• A short description of what was not working.

Replies arrive within 1 business day, Monday–Friday from our team directly. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 1 business day, Monday–Friday and to fix or document a workaround within 30 days where the fix is in our control.

4. Standards

Our conformance target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We test with axe-core in development, with NVDA + Chrome for screen-reader review, and with keyboard-only navigation testing.

5. Updates

This statement is reviewed at least annually and after major site changes.
