In an OR everyone is masked, gowned and identical from the neck up. The card is what the circulating nurse reads when they need you specifically, not just anyone.

What’s in the set

• One OR role card — 8.6 × 8.3 cm glitter acrylic,
  slotted for a standard badge clip, with raised lettering rather than a printed decal.
• One badge reel — retractable steel cord and swivel clip, so the whole
  assembly still pulls out to the reader.

Why a card and not just the badge

Hospital ID type is sized for a scanner, not for a room. It sits at chest height, often facing
the floor, in about 8 pt. The role card sits behind it and says one thing in letters that
carry — which is the only part a stranger actually needs.

Care

Wipe with a damp cloth. The lettering is raised acrylic, so it won’t peel the way a
printed sticker does — but keep it out of the wash all the same.
