The Lumi Fabric.

Every LumiScrubs piece is cut from one performance weave. Here is what it is made of, what third-party labs measured, and — just as important — the exact limits of what each result means.

The blend.

The line runs on a polyester–rayon–spandex stretch weave: 72% polyester · 21% rayon · 7% spandex (nominal blend for the line). Independent lab analysis of the submitted fabric sample measured 75.0% polyester / 20.4% rayon / 4.6% spandex — the sewn-in label on each garment carries the final SKU-level values.

Polyester

Structure and shape retention — the reason a set still looks pressed at hour ten.

Rayon

The soft hand and fluid drape you feel at first touch.

Spandex

Recovery and stretch where you bend — shoulders, knees, hips.

What third-party labs measured.

Results below are from independent laboratory testing of the Lumi fabric (report no. GL25002304, May 2025). They are fabric-level results on sampled lots — not guarantees against every spill, and not protective equipment ratings.

Grade 3

Water repellency — spray test

Splashes bead and roll off instead of soaking in immediately.

Method: GB/T 4745-2012 spray test
Applies to: Lumi tops & pants fabric
Limits: fabric-level; not fluid-proof; not PPE

Grade 4–5

Soil release

Everyday stains release more easily in a normal wash cycle.

Method: FZ/T 01118-2012 wipe method
Applies to: Lumi tops & pants fabric
Limits: tested on sampled fabric lots

84.6 mm/s

Air permeability

Measured airflow through the weave — air keeps moving on long shifts.

Method: GB/T 5453-1997 · 100 Pa
Applies to: submitted fabric sample
Limits: measured by an accredited subcontract lab

1.3 s

Anti-static half-decay

Static dissipates in 1.3 seconds — under the 10-second benchmark for excellent anti-static performance.

Method — GB/T 12703.1-2021 corona charging
Applies to — submitted fabric sample
Limits — accredited subcontract lab

Formaldehyde

Not detected.

GB 18401-2010 (B)

Banned azo colourants

Not detected — across all 24 listed arylamines.

GB/T 17592-2011

Colour fastness & odour

Passed water, perspiration, and rubbing fastness; odourless.

FZ/T 81007-2022 / GB 18401-2010

And a finish that works quietly.

On top of the weave, a protective fabric finish helps each piece shed everyday splashes and stay fresh through long shifts. We publish the tested results above — and we don’t claim beyond them.

Care.

Cold or warm wash below 30°C, gentle cycle, inside out, mild detergent, no bleach, tumble dry low. The fabric is built to hold its shape and color through normal home laundering.

What these results do not mean

Fabric-level test results describe the material, not a medical function. LumiScrubs garments are professional apparel — not personal protective equipment, not fluid-proof, and not a substitute for required safety wear. Results apply to the sampled fabric lots described in the report.
